Spinning I've had some sort of a sore throat/nausea thing going on. Today my co-worker gave me this medicine from Tom's of Maine. I'm kinda lightheaded right now. And as I read the label, post ingestion - it says it's Adult Nighttime. That means I'm not supposed to operate any heavy machinery! Let alone drive! Eek. How do I get home? But, my throat feels better. Wheee...even if I stay still things continue to move around. Great...well, it takes my mind off the monies I have to finish scrounging up to pay for a trip for my mom and I to attend my cousin's wedding in August. They're due Monday. No problem, I think. Just gotta make the last deposit Sunday.

Brainfart This time it wasn't me. lt's been over a week since last contact was made. The other day there was an email from El Dork. I read it trying to figure out why he was sending it to me. Turns out, it was a transcript between him and one of our friends who is a river guide. He was asking her to serve as guide to a bunch of people, including him and the gf. Like I needed to know this. As it turns out, she and i have the same last name -- OH, and the same intial in the first name. Go figure. So, I just sent it back to him... "Wrong person" Dork. In all actuality, I found it pretty humorous, as he clearly wouldn't have any comeback for that stupid ass move. I told my friend DT about it, and she just started laughing. Then felt kind of embarrassed for him. Not I. I feel no sympathy for the fucker.

Yay! Sex and the City starts on Sunday.

Ow.... I played two volleyball matches last night. We won both, including beating the only undefeated team in the little league. Not bad for last place. And, I'd have to say, not bad for not having touched a volleyball in about 2 years. But, I don't know what got into me after that. I went to the gym when league was done. Today, I'm paying the price. I'm putting up a sign at my desk that says, "will not move unless there is a fire alarm."

Smooth one, McFly... So, yesterday, I ran into Mister 'I have a PHd' last night. We were talking sports, and as I'm a Paul Pierce fan, and he's from Boston, I had to ask if he was still a Celtics fan. He is..sorta. He asked me if I liked the Celtics, and I amended that I liked Paul Walk- I mean Pierce.... He laughed and said "You combined the two best players." God. STOOOPID! I was that flustered. Sheyoot.
